Stretch and Mobility Log
This week introduces a short mobility routine focused on the ankles, knees, hips, and lower legs. The purpose is to gradually improve functional movement, support a healthier gait, and help the body recover from the increasing step count.
Stretching should feel controlled and gentle. Sharp pain, joint pain, or worsening swelling is a reason to stop that movement.
| Date | Routine Completed | Duration | Before Walking / After Walking | Tightness, Pain, or Swelling |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| July 20 | Yes | 8 min | After | Left hip tight. No Pain or swelling. |
| July 21 | Yes | 8 min | After | No Pain or Swelling. |

Weekly Notes
Week T-207 continues the Phase I foundation build.
The daily step goal increases to an average of 11,000 steps per day. The sustained-walk goal remains 3.5 miles, with no required pack weight and flat or rolling terrain.
This week also introduces a deliberate stretching and mobility routine. The routine focuses on the ankles, knees, hips, and lower legs—the areas most affected by the injuries, hardware, limited squat mobility, and differences in gait.
The purpose is not to force flexibility or make up for years of restricted movement in a single week. The purpose is to create another consistent habit, observe how the body responds, and slowly improve usable movement.
Continue monitoring ankle swelling, pain, balance, and left-to-right differences. Record those observations in the mobility log so future training decisions are based on patterns rather than memory.
The goal is not to rush.
The goal is to build a stronger and more mobile foundation.
Forward still counts.
